12 month Recovery Assistant Program
Post-treatment relapse is so common for addicts but is avoidable when the proper resources are applied. Case management programs like those in the USA Employee Assistance Programs that feature a drug monitoring component and compliance in intensive family consultation see recovery rates of 79% and better with no relapse. Of those that relapse only 26% had a second relapse, so we are very proud to offer our recovery assistant program.
Extensive work with the family members is what makes the Intervention 911/Alcohol and Drug Help Recovery Assistant Program stand apart from anything else available in Australia. The Recovery Assistant Program effectively shifts the roles within the family system by taking loved ones out of 'the enforcement role", establishing clear and measureable guidelines for a program of recovery and clearing up all the guesswork and mystery that addiction relies on to survive.

Individuals progress through drug addiction treatment at various rates, so there is no predetermined length of treatment. However, research has shown unequivocally that good outcomes are contingent on adequate treatment length. Generally, for residential or outpatient treatment, participation for less than 90 days is of limited effectiveness and treatment lasting significantly longer is recommended for maintaining positive outcomes. Treatment dropout is one of the major problems encountered by treatment programs; therefore, motivational techniques that can keep clients engaged will also improve outcomes. By viewing addiction as a chronic disease and monitoring, programs can succeed, but this will often require multiple episodes of treatment and readily readmitting clients that have relapsed.
